Veterans Upward Bound Offers Free, Easy Higher Education Prep Services to Eligible Veterans.
Anoka-Ramsey Community College recently added a Veterans Upward Bound program at both their Coon Rapids Campus and Cambridge Campus. The program is also offered at Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC).
Veterans Upward Bound is a federally-funded program available through the U.S .Department of Education TRIO program to help veterans prepare for post-secondary education, such as college or technical school.
Assistance includes:
Veterans who have completed at least 181 days of active duty, other than for training purposes, may qualify, and do not need to enrolled at Anoka-Ramsey, MCTC or any higher education institute to participate.
