Air Force Aid Society
General George S. Brown Spouse Tuition Assistance Program (STAP) - The purpose of the Spouse Tuition Assistance Program (STAP) is to provide partial tuition assistance for spouses of Active Duty airmen or officers, who accompany members to overseas locations and will be attending college programs. The focus of the program is on the completion of degree or certificate programs that provide increased occupational opportunities for spouses.
General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program - provides $2000 grants to selected sons and daughters of active duty, Title 10 AGR/Reserve, Title 32 AGR performing full-time active duty, retired, retired reserve and deceased Air Force members; spouses (stateside) of active duty members and Title 10 AGR/Reservists; and surviving spouses of deceased personnel for their undergraduate studies.
American Legion
Education is the cornerstone upon which the future of this nation is built. Where there are good schools, we find good citizens. In fact, education is the first requisite of good citizenship.
Reliable studies show many American students are unaware of all the financial assistance available to them in pursuit of higher education. The American Legion's Scholarship Programs were created to fill that void, and to promote and provide programs that encourage children to make use of their education opportunities.
Army Emergency Relief (AER)
The Army Emergency Relief has scholarships for dependents and spouses.
Fallen Warrior Scholarship Fund
The Patriot Guard Riders is a nonprofit, tax exempt organization strongly supported nationally by volunteers. The Fallen Warrior Scholarship Fund has been established to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships to US military family members of our Fallen Warriors in their pursuit of higher education. One-year scholarships of $2000 are awarded annually, and are limited to undergraduate studies at accredited educational/technical institutions. Scholarship awards will be made co-payable to the scholarship recipient's institution for payment of tuition, books and supplies. Scholarships are not automatically renewable. Recipients must reapply each year and may receive no more than four annual scholarships.

Federal Student Aid
An office of the U.S. Department of Education, plays a central and essential role in America's postsecondary education community. Federal Student Aid's core mission is to ensure that all eligible Americans benefit from federal financial assistance—grants, loans and work-study programs—for education beyond high school. The programs we administer comprise the nation's largest source of student aid: during the 2004-05 school year alone, we provided approximately $74 billion in new aid to nearly 10 million postsecondary students and their families. Our staff of 1,100 is based in 10 cities in addition to our Washington headquarters.
Freedom Alliance
The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund honors the bravery and dedication exhibited by Americans in our armed forces who have sacrificed life and limb by providing educational scholarships to their children.
GI Bill
The Minnesota State Approving Agency’s (SAAs) mission is to provide the administrative oversight of the G.I. Bill’s Minnesota Education and Training Programs on behalf of our veterans and other eligible persons. In Minnesota, there are more than 200 institutions that are SAA approved and over 6,500 programs that are SAA approved. In addition, there are over 50 SAA approved On-The-Job (OJT) and Apprenticeship Training Programs.

A virtual gateway for Soldiers on active duty to request Tuition Assistance (TA) online, anytime for classroom, distance learning, and eArmyU online college courses. It is a dynamic online portal that automates many of the paper-based processes you historically conducted with your Army Education Counselor.
Higher Education Veterans Assistance Program
This MN Dept. of Veterans Affairs program provides assistance to veterans at all public and private higher educational institutions in Minnesota via central liaison staff and campus veterans assistance officers.
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of current or former United States Marines in their pursuit of higher education. We also provide a very limited number of scholarships to children of Navy Corpsmen who serve or have served with Marines. One-year scholarships (ranging from $500 -$10,000) are awarded annually and are limited to undergraduate studies at accredited educational and/or technical institutions. Our "Heroes Tribute Scholarships" (of up to $20,000 over four years) are given to the children of Marines and the children of Navy Corpsmen serving with the Marines whose parent is killed in the ongoing Global War on Terror.
Military Education Scholarship Program
An ongoing scholarship offer for students with military affiliation, ROTC, and children of military members. Each semester, three $1,000 scholarships are awarded to the winning students. Military Officers Association of America
More than 8,500 students from military families have benefited from the Educational Assistance Program of MOAA. MOAA's program provides interest-free loans and grants to students for up to five years of undergraduate study.
Minnesota Student Educational Loan Fund (SELF)
The Minnesota Student Educational Loan Fund (SELF) Program helps students who need assistance in paying for education beyond high school. The loan can be used only for educational purposes. The program is administered by the MN Office of Higher Education.
Navy League of the United States
The Navy League Foundation has a total of 22 endowed, four-year $10,000 scholarships. The Foundation also awards several one-year scholarships on behalf of other military and civilian foundations, and Navy League Councils across the United States provide additional scholarships to students and Sea Cadets in their cities and regions.

State Soldier's Assistance Program (SSAP)
This MN Dept. of Veterans Affairs program provides educational benefits in the form of a one-time grant to veterans who have exhausted their federal benefits, and to war orphans of veterans who died as a result of a service connected injury or disease.
The Retired Enlisted Association
Thank you for your interest in The Retired Enlisted Association's National Scholarship program. TREA members are proud to be able to offer these scholarships to our Nations high school student. The program is open to any high school student. Requirements can be found at the link below web site. The postmark deadline for submitting a Scholarship Application is April 30, 2007.
